  1. Hey man, I am actually in the market for quality gaming setups. what would you rate this monitor on a scale of 1 to 10? You said that the color can be kind of iffy outside of the box, Do you know if this would seriously impact an RPG with commands at the very bottom and sides of the screen if left stock?

    1. Hey there 😉

Thank You for taking Your time to read and comment on my review, I truly appreciate it! 😉

It is hard to decide but I think I would give it about 9 out of 10, especially when You consider the price of XFA240! It has fantastic gaming performance (144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, FreeSync etc.), adjustable stand, EyeProtect technology, elegant design with suprisingly pretty good build quality, for a little more than 200$! Of course it is not perfect, i would love to see much better color calibration out of the box so I wouldn’t have to calibrate myself, I would take out built in speakers to lower the price even more and like I’ve stated in review, OSD buttoms feel clunky so it would be nice to see that change too. I think XFA240 offers an amazing value for the price You pay, for a bit more than 200$ to get an competitive gaming monitor that actually delivers is very good in my opinion.

I don’t think that out of the box color calibration in XFA240 would affect the visibility of commands that much, I think the overall visual fidelity of the game itself would be affected negatively the most 😉 There are people online sharing their picture preset modes and calibration options so keep that in mind 😉 I would suggest for You too change those stock settings 😉
